Arc'teryx Hike and Brew

After a long, cold winter, let's say hello to spring! Arc'teryx Kitsilano is celebrating the change of the season on Saturday May 13th with two events:

1. Join us for a hike! We'll be doing the Kennedy Falls hike in North Vancouver. Meet at 11am at the Mt. Fromme parking lot. Please note that there is a 3 hour parking limit in this lot. We may be longer than that so you may consider parking lower down on Mountain Highway and walking up to the parking lot instead. Follow the parking signs!

This 10km round-trip trail is rated "intermediate" and is expected to take 3-5 hours, depending on if we want to take a snack break at the falls. This trail is known for being pretty muddy, especially in spring, so bring your sturdy boots! There is not much elevation but there are roots and small creeks to cross.

We will have waivers on hand at the trailhead, and everyone must sign a waiver in order to participate.

2. Join us for the afterparty! Guests are invited to the Arc'teryx Kitsilano store from 6pm - 9pm for a fun, social evening. Brad Vaillancourt from the Great Divide Trail Association will be presenting on his experiences with long distance and thru-hiking and the efforts of his organization to protect all 1125 km of the incredible Great Divide Trail.

BCMC will be available to answer your questions about their amazing organization and to chat about their upcoming trips.

We will be serving beer and at the end of the evening we will be raffling off a Bora AR backpack!
